Pet Friendly, Music Speaker & Hot Tub
Welcome to Stag’s Hide, Aviemore Lodge – Sleeps 4
Stag’s Hide was formerly used by the gamekeeper of Kinrara Estate, and dates back to 1909. The tin roof is very much part of Scotland’s rural landscape which adds to the care of this humble abode. Standing on the front doorstep, absorb the views of the Cairngorm Mountain Range, natural woodland where deer graze & frolic and broods of pheasants nest and roam . It truly sets the mood for a back to nature experience. The cedar clad hot tub or perhaps the garden patio with BBQ (Summer months only) are an ideal spot for soaking up the picturesque surroundings.
Indoors, you can put your feet up and relax with the warm glow from the squirrel log burner. The interiors reflect a simple Scandi style which is both aesthetically pleasing and practical. Stag’s Hide has a calm feel through use of soft and natural textiles, in line with a slower pace of life. Although compact, the cosy cottage offers everything a family could need, including open-plan kitchen, dining/living area with Sonos speaker and Smart TV. Luxury double bedrooms, with memory foam mattresses, duck down duvets and the finest linen with king-size beds – one of which is a super king doubling up as twin beds depending on your needs. Both bedrooms have double aspect windows and smart TVs. The contemporary wet room has a rainfall shower and there is a heated storage cupboard for any outdoor clothing.
(The Roost is situated behind Stag’s Hide if you have a party of 6, 2 could stay in the Roost. Each property has its own independent and private space)
Stag’s Hide has the best of both nature and activity; you can reach the centre of Aviemore on foot (20 minutes) via road and track or by bike (10 minutes). Many paths and tracks can be accessed from the cottage doorstep.
The stresses and strains of daily life melt away as people spend their time enjoying activities like hiking and cycling while reconnecting with family and friends.
