Dog Friendly Accommodation In The Cairngorms

Our very own Tom’s Lodge and Stags Hide are the perfect luxury and dog friendly holiday lodges for you and your furry friend. The properties boast stunning surroundings with dog friendly gardens. Both gardens are fully enclosed and gated therefore safe for your dog’s exclusive use.

With all the exciting new smells and surroundings, you can rest assured your dog will be stimulated from check in to check out. Muddy paws? Not to worry, we have an outdoor tap on both of our properties, perfect for rinsing off or cooling down after a mucky adventure!

Inside our stunning lodges, humans and pooches alike are sure to find a comfy spot to relax in after a long day exploring. Our dogs particularly love lying next to our cosy log burner after long walks. The lodges have all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay in The Cairngorms and to make your luggage that little bit lighter, we also provide poo bags AND food/water bowls.

Dog Friendly Adventures In The Cairngorms

The Cairngorms have an extensive range of dog friendly walks and trails. There are also several walks that you can begin from the lodges with lots of local wildlife to look out for.

At Stag’s Hide, you can pick up the old military Burma trail covering 26 miles or wander along a farm track to Loch Alvie where your dog can take a little dip. At Tom’s lodge, you can leave the garden from the little wooden gate, straight into bush ground, where our dogs love sniffing out rabbits, then over the style or under the fence into woodland, where deer can be spotted.

Further afield, you can venture out on a variety of forest walks, climb hills with breath-taking views and visit stunning waterfalls and reserves out with the lodge surroundings. Check out some more top-rated walks in The Cairngorms National Park.
